Best XI of all time Inter

Walter Zenga is one of the all time great goalkeepers in the world and his best days were spent at Inter Milan from the early 1980s to the mid 1990s. He played over 300 league matches for Inter and won the scudetto once and the UEFA Cup twice.

Javier Zanetti is an Argentine and Inter Milan legend and at 35 he is still carrying on for the Italian powerhouse. He joined the club in 1995 and has been loyal to them since then, earning over 400 Italian Serie A matches. He is a world-class right back who can also play as a right winger.
Giuseppe Bergomi made his debut for Inter Milan during the 1980-1981 season and went on to become a legend in the blue and black half of Milan. He played 513 league matches for Inter and won the Coppa Italia in 1982, the scudetto in 1989 and the UEFA Cup in 1991, 1994 and 1998. He was a one-club man and is noted as one of greatest ever defenders.
Walter Samuel played 10 years in Inter winning 5 Serie A titels , Champions League and a treble. He was one of the best defenders in Argentina history and was an absolute beast at defending.
Giacinto Facchetti is one of the most loved Italian footballers of all time. A one-club man, he played for Inter Milan all his life and featured prominently during the 1960s during the Grande Inter period. He scored 75 goals in 634 official games for Inter Milan in all competitions and is regarded as one of the greatest left backs of all time. He won the Italian championship four times with Inter and also won the European Cup twice.

In his prime, the Spaniard was one of the greatest deep lying playmakers of-all-time, with his perceptive passing, explosive shot and control of the game. An important player during the Grande Inter, Suarez played 256 times as an Internazionale player and lifted three Serie A trophies and two European Cups.
Being the Argentine footballer with the most honours in history, Esteban Matias Cambiasso has truly been the heartbeat Inter's midfield in recent years. Cuchu has played 267 games with the Serie A side, and he was a key player in the midfield of the Jose Mourinho-coached team which won the treble in 2010
Lothar Matthaus was a German midfield genius who is regarded as one of the best ever players in world football. He played for Inter Milan between 1988 and 1992 and could play either as an attacking midfielder or as a defensive midfielder and at times he even played as a sweeper. He won the scudetto and the UEFA Cup with Inter Milan and was adjudged as the FIFA World Player of the Year in 1991.

Giuseppe Meazza is often considered as the greatest ever Italian forward and is arguably the greatest ever player for Inter Milan. He played for Inter between 1927 and 1940 and then again from 1946 to 1947. Meazza was noted for his dribbling skills, visions and turns and scored 247 goals in 348 league matches for Inter in his first spell at the club. He still holds the record for most goals scored in a debut season in the Italian Serie A; Meazza scored 31 goals in the 1929-1930 campaign.
Although the Brazilian legend Ronaldo left Inter Milan in an acrimonious fashion, the fact is that on the football pitch he should be considered as an all time great for the Italian powerhouse. He suffered two horrific knee injuries while at Inter but still managed to score 49 goals in 68 Italian Serie A matches. Ronaldo won the UEFA Cup with Inter and for the time that he was active for Inter, he was a joy to watch.
Having 3 succesful years at Inter scoring 66 goals in 117 matches, wiining all 3 years the Serie A league and twice Italian Cup. He was twice the top scorer in italy and many offers were made for him by other clubs. He was once in the best 11 when in Inter.
