Best XI of all time Bayern Munich

Picture
Kahn won only one Champions League – but was the hero of the decisive penalty series. Similarly, when a mediocre Germany reached the 2002 World Cup final, it was largely because of Kahn’s inspirational goalkeeping. He was even voted the best player of that tournament. Kahn’s individual performances make him the winner of this contest. With his crude looks, unkempt hair, titanic frame, terrifying war-cries and overall fearlessness, Kahn was more than just a talented shot stopper. He was, and remains, an icon.

Oliver Kahn

The current captain of the Bavarians is a tireless machine and a key player to recent Bayern's success. A right back with both defensive and attacking skills, a true leader who can play both on the left and the right side of defence. He's been to the club since 2003 and has played 411 times.
Beckenbauer is the best German player of-all-time, in my opinion. A versatile player, who did everything on the pitch - and he practically invented the role of the "sweeper" position. He has played 427 times for the Munich side and was the star player of the European Cup "threepeat" (1974, 1975, 1976). Der Kaiser ("The Emperor"), is one of the most decorated players ever and probably one of the most complete football players to ever play the game.
As a result of playing with the likes of Beckenbauer and Breitner on Bayern's defence, Schwarzenbeck was a little overshadowed and isn't as appreciated as he should be. A strong defender with confident tackling skills and aerial dominance, he won six German championships and three European Cups with Bayern.
Breitner was a world-class left back and often a defensive midfielder and a player who caused a lot of controversy in the media with his extraordinary, multifaceted and straight-talking personality. With an excellent tackling ability and a thunderbolt shot, he dominated the whole left wing and won five German and one European Cup with the Bavarians.

The 1990 European Footballer of the Year played 302 times for the Munich side in two different spells. A versatile and complete player, Lothar Matthaus played as a sweeper, a defensive midfielder, a central midfielder and an attacking midfielder. He was known for his excellent passes, his positioning and his control of the ball and is considered as one of the greatest box-to-box midfielder ever.
A true beast. He played from 2002 to 2006 after joining Chelsea. In Bayern he was able to win 3 Bundesliga titles scoring 62 goals in 152 apps. In 4 years in Bayern Munich he was able to win even three DFB-Pokal(Germany Cup).
For a (until summer 2012) club record fee of €25m, Ribery joined Bayern Munich. He has represented the Bavarians 158 times and is currently the most important player in their squad. Known for his speed and dribbling ability Frank Ribery has won the German Bundesliga three times. His creativity also led the Munich side to the 2013 Champions League trophy.

Running the right wing, switching inside while dribbling past 2-3 players and unleashing an incredibly accurate shot with finesse. That's Arjen Robben's signature move. The player who scored the winning goal in the last Champions League final is known for his dribbling skills and his accurate crossing and shooting with his left foot. He has scored some truly important goals for Bayern.
Gerhard "Gerd" Muller is a legend in Germany and especially in Munich. Der Bomber has the insane record of 398 goals in 453 apps for Bayern in all competitions. Although his figure never fit the conventional idea of a great striker, Muller was an incredibly good finisher and a header master with uncanny goal-scoring instincts, qualities that made him one the most prolific and successful scorers ever.
The current Chief Executive Officer of the F.C. Bayern Munchen AG, Rummenigge was a fearsome striker with a great eye for the goal, scoring a total of 162 goals in 310 appearances for the Munich team. "Kalle" was Bundesliga's top scorer in 79-80, 80-81 and 83-84 and has won the European Cup.
